A Service Is Not a Single, Unified Switch
The platform’s website, mobile app, login system, market data, order placement, deposits, and withdrawals may be powered by different, independent systems. The unavailability of one module does not imply a total system outage; likewise, the ability to view prices does not guarantee that trading or withdrawals are functional. Before concluding that the entire platform is down, document the specific feature affected, the error message received, your region/network conditions, and the timestamp—then check official announcements and status updates.
Status Pages Have Temporal Limits
Official status updates include publication timestamps, the scope of impact, and subsequent progress reports. Save the full link to the announcement and note the time zone; distinguish between stages such as "under investigation," "identified," "in progress," and "monitoring recovery." A status of "recovered" does not necessarily mean that all backlogged requests for your account have been cleared; verify the current status of the specific features you are using. Third-party monitoring services and social media posts can provide clues, but they are not a substitute for official confirmation from the platform.
Avoid Blind Retries After Order Timeouts
A request timeout may occur either before an order is accepted or after it has been accepted but before the response is returned. Always query the order status using existing identifiers before taking further action. If the API does not support "safe confirmation" (idempotency), pause your operations rather than repeatedly resending the same request. A cancellation request may coincide with the execution of a trade; therefore, you must consult the final transaction records. Do not assume that no change in your assets has occurred based solely on the presence of a network error.
Distinguish between platform-level actions and on-chain transactions when withdrawing funds.
The withdrawal process involves distinct stages: request creation, review, broadcasting, and on-chain confirmation. If a transaction hash exists, verify it using a trusted block explorer on the correct network. If the transaction has not yet been broadcast, its absence on the blockchain does not mean the platform never received the request. Do not repeatedly submit withdrawal requests if the webpage appears frozen, and never follow instructions from unknown "customer service" agents to deposit funds into a new address for the purpose of "unlocking" your account. Official support tickets should include the request ID and relevant, redacted details.
Using an alternative connection method is not a way to bypass restrictions.
Switching to a reliable network or using the official application can help identify local technical issues; however, these methods should not be used to circumvent regional eligibility requirements, platform risk controls, or security warnings. Do not install unknown acceleration software or disable certificate verification just to gain temporary access. Use alternative API endpoints only as specified in official documentation, and never share your API keys with third-party intermediaries. If you are unsure about the legitimacy of an endpoint, cease all sensitive operations immediately.
Reconcile your accounts once normal operations are restored.
Carefully review all orders, trades, cancellations, fund transfers, and withdrawals. Document any omissions, duplicates, or incomplete transactions before resuming regular activity. Keep a record of the incident’s duration, relevant official announcements, and support tickets. Do not interpret the post-recovery observation period as a guarantee of absolute stability. This document serves as a framework for incident handling; it does not guarantee the uptime of any specific platform, nor does it provide assurances regarding the outcome of trades executed during periods of downtime.
